Personal 1-on-1 Health Education Session

Welcome to DCB comprehensive health education sessions designed to empower you with the knowledge and tools needed to lead a balanced, more fulfilling life. Utilizing a whole-person approach, each session will explore a variety of critical health topics, providing you with valuable insights, practical advice, and actionable steps to manage and improve your health and wellness.

Each session focuses on a specific health topic to enhance your well-being. You have the flexibility to register for individual sessions based on your interests and needs.

Understanding Stress

Session 1

Using a holistic approach, this session will provide a clear understanding of what stress is, its causes, and how it affects the whole body. We will discuss potential stress triggers and how to manage those triggers. The possible health consequences of chronic stress on the whole person will be examined. Strategies for developing healthy habits such as lifestyle will be explored.

Inflammation

Session 2

Using a holistic approach, this session will provide a clear understanding of what inflammation is, its causes, and its role in the body’s immune system. We will discuss the signs and symptoms of both acute and chronic inflammation. The potential health consequences of chronic inflammation will be investigated including, its various diseases such as arthritis, heart disease, and diabetes. Strategies for reducing inflammation through lifestyle changes will also be discussed.

High Blood Pressure

Session 3

Using a holistic approach, this session will provide a clear understanding of what high blood pressure is, its causes, and how it affects the whole body. We will explore why high blood pressure is also called The Silent Killer. We will discuss its signs and symptoms. When left untreated, we will explore the potential effects on other body systems such as the heart and kidneys. Strategies for prevent and/or management through lifestyle changes, will be investigated.

Prices

As a certified health educator with a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number, my services may qualify for reimbursement through your insurance company. Additionally, you may be able to use Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Accounts (HSA) to cover the cost of these sessions. This means you can receive expert health education while potentially reducing your out-of-pocket expenses!

  • 60-minutes - Individualized 1-on-1 session. Sessions can occur in my office or your home.

    Home visits are subject to additional fee.

    Initial free 15-minute consultation are via Zoom.

    $150.00 per 60-minute session

    $425.00 for 3 session package

  • 90-minute sessions on specific health topic. Each session incorporates the 5 aspects of health™ which includes physical, emotional, nutritional, environmental, and spiritual health.

    $50.00 per session

    $40.00 when register for 2 or more sessions

  • 75-minute session at your place of work. Topic focuses on stress management and include the 5 aspects of health™ (physical, emotional, nutritional, environmental, and spiritual health).

    Prices vary depending on if DCB provides lunch.
